The Flash/Reel series takes as its inspiration cinematic devices used to create a variety of tableaux. The idea is to recreate the way a motion picture camera caresses objects and sights. The effect is more ethereal than linear in regards to narrative but the final goal is to tell stories through a series of moments that are like dents in time. These moments are crystallized in the collage that accompanies each prose poem. |
