001. Towards Glimmer
I see it in a steady frame filmed on ultraslow celluloid and Daylight Spool. The eyes tracing overhead in the vinyl sky the sliver of an airplane gleaming with sunlight metallic as frost. The flicker of a nanosecond
signaled a sudden change to pale. Then: the churning in the chest traveling upward, an ice pick of a synapse firing, burning its tip white. The eyes spent from the flash, rest on the feet that were then crushing the
curdled milk glass of the icy sidewalk. Ifm not saying this. Ifm not saying that thatfs love. This is me looking at love. Petty me sucking on the icicle I broke off the low awning. And it wasnft even my house. The cue detector
was placed faithfully, and the scene was precise - it was all projection on lithium ion.
